Who are we? Data Cable is a world class manufacturer of custom connectivity solutions, including wire harnessing, electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and box builds for a widely diverse group of industries.

Position: We are currently seeking full time Assemblers at our Orangeville manufacturing facility.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday.

Pay: Starts at $18.50/hour for Level 1 and ranges up to $20.50 for Level 4.

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assembling wire and cable harness products using assembly documentation, parts list, hand tools and the knowledge gained through supplied training.
• Operating semi-automatic cutting, stripping, and crimping machines.
• Manually strip, tin and solder various wire gauges.
• Mechanical assembly of electronic products.
• Maintaining quality while meeting or exceeding production targets.
• Working as a team to meet departmental goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Good eyesight.
• Manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail.
• Hand-eye co-ordination.
• Ability to distinguish between colours.
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Good math skills.
• Familiar with basic electrical tools.
• Ability to use and read a ruler and measuring tape in both imperial and metric formats. 
• Ability to read and write in English.
