Why Work at Data Cable?

  • Clean and safe work environment.
  • Climate-controlled environment (our entire plant is air conditioned in the summer).
  • Casual dress: steel toe shoes not required for most positions or areas of our building.
  • Training and tools are provided. 
  • Overtime is available once fully trained if you want to increase your earning potential.
  • No weekends - Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Day shift only - no rotations, no afternoon shift, and no night shifts.
  • Tremendous flexibility – employees can flex their hours to suit their personal or family situation (minimum 30-hour commitment each week for most positions).
  • Up to a maximum of 5 weeks of vacation (compared to max. of 4 weeks offered by other companies).
  • Summer hours from May to September, which includes ending work early on Friday at 1pm.
  • Group Benefits for health, dental, disability and life insurance - 75% of the premium is paid by Data Cable.
  • Profit Sharing Program, which pays out 10% of profits once per year in December, if profits have been achieved. Fun fact - this has been paid to the team every year since the program started in 2016.
  • Employee Referral Bonus Program, which pays out $1,000 during the first year as new hires complete 3, 6, 12 months of continuous employment.
